A solution automating the tearing process of (prefabricated) gasket discs. Short process description:
> The robot picks up a gasket disc from the basket and feeds it to the tearing machine;
> The gaskets are automatically torn from the disc and transferred to the gasket classification tunnel;
> In the tunnel, the gaskets are classified (torn correctly / partially correctly / incorrectly / damaged);
> The classified gaskets are transported by a conveyor belt to the appropriate basket;
The robot's picking of gaskets from the basket is controlled by the AI system Mayeryn AI Vision. The proprietary AI system is also used in the gasket classification tunnel. The line is able to work 24/7. It is possible to use a cardboard warehouse, which will reduce the number of operators needed per shift.
> Active learning mode – the system itself asks the operator to add missing labels and adds them to the training database
> Anomaly detection (unsupervised), useful when defects are difficult to define.
