We are starting a project for an automatic bacon cutting machine

We have begun implementing a project for an automatic bacon slicing machine for a food manufacturer. This is the next step in expanding our portfolio of dedicated industrial automation solutions.

The proposed machine is a fully automated cutting station designed to increase the efficiency, repeatability, and safety of the production process.

Technology designed to meet production requirements

The machine is designed as a robust, industrial-grade 316 stainless steel structure, adapted to the demanding environment of meat processing plants. It meets high hygiene standards (IP67) and is suitable for cleaning with chemicals used in the food industry.

Key design features include:

• Precise cutting of the bacon block into equal pieces (lengthwise and crosswise cuts),
• the use of a laser positioning system that assists the operator in precisely positioning the product,
• the use of specially designed triangular, perforated blades that cut rather than crush the meat structure,
• a modular guillotine frame enabling quick knife changes and configuration,
• an automatic sideboard, and a two-handed activation system compliant with safety standards.

Efficiency and flexibility

The project aims to achieve a throughput of up to 360 blocks per hour with a standard operating cycle.

The machine will be available in electric or pneumatic versions, depending on the production line’s requirements. Interchangeable blades and tabletop configurations allow for adapting the machine to various product variants and changing production needs.
