Servo-hydraulic actuator control system

Project for Łukasiewicz- Poznań Institute of Technology

Project description

As part of the project, a control system for two servo-hydraulic actuators was created from scratch. The project included the creation of an electrical and mechanical design of a control system ready to work with the existing test stand, including a hydraulic pump with an oil pressure of 280 bar, actuators controlled by servo valves with a voltage of +/-10 V DC, tensometric force transducers, inductive displacement sensors. The system was designed in such a way that it can be expanded later to 24 control channels. The entire system was placed in a rack cabinet. Additionally, we also created software for the system that allows reading parameters. The system was installed by us at the Client's premises.

Specifications

The created system provides:

  • > 10 kHz sampling frequency of measurement channels (strain gauge force transducers, inductive displacement sensors),
  • > 10 kHz feedback loop update frequency,
  • > 1000 Hz testing frequency,
  • > possibility of iterative control in the frequency domain.
